The Fight Is Over!!

After a crazy bout and a whole lotta hype, it looks like Floyd Mayweather Jr. has bested Manny Pacquiao in the ring for one of Vegas’s most watched events.

Mayweather won the decision counter punching and easily outclassed Pacquiao.

After the fight, Pacquiao said that he didn’t think he lost the fight because he was pushing the action and Mayweather was backing up. Mayweather in the end was complimentary of Manny, but Floyd had a number of people booing him throughout his response.

The audience absolutely seems to want a rematch, as they were clearly behind Manny, who pushed the action. Mayweather beat him in punches landed, thrown, and accuracy according to the judges — two of which ruled 116-112 with another ruling 118-110.

Mayweather certainly agrees — and so does his bank account and continued undefeated record. This brings his career record to 48-0. Mayweather also says he wants to retire at 49-0… after his his next fight in September.
